Once all relevant actions have taken place in relation to the concern , the concern can be closed. When closing the concern you must ensure that the decision and rationale is completed.
Prior to closing a concern you must ensure that the records clearly capture:
A clear and comprehensive summary of the concern
Details of how the concern was followed up and resolved
A note of any action taken and rationale for these actions, decisions reached and the outcome
Any evidence of other documentation has been uploaded to files
Allocate an appropriate category.
NB - Concerns should not be left open to enable monitoring. If the concern has been actioned and completed this should be closed. The M button can be used to signal students who need to be monitored.
